Health technology analysis is a multidisciplinary analytical tool that analyses the health technologies (medicines, operations) in a systematic way. It deals with the following questions: clinic safety, characteristics of processes, efficiency, effectiveness, economic impacts, social, legal and political environment. Health technology analysis relies on tools of economics, statistics, social sciences, epidemiology, medical science. It aims to develop decisions for health policy and service provision.
