Students are responsible for their own housing arrangements. The International Office of the Faculty, however, will provide all possible assistance to students in finding appropriate lodging.

We very much suggest that you start looking around for a place to live in during the semester only once you are already here in Budapest (descriptions and pictures posted on the internet can be deceiving). It is suggested that students rent a flat or share a rented flat, which is what most international students do.

Renting a flat in the city ranges from about 400 to 600 EUR/month, depending on the size and location of the flat and on the number of students sharing it.
